1. Common plasma cutting machine faults and solutions

cnc oxyfuel cutting machine is a cutting machine used in the industrial field. cnc oxyfuel cutting machine is inevitable that some faults will occur in the process of use, which needs to be solved in time.

The fault phenomenon, cause and solution of the cnc oxyfuel cutting machine:

1. After turning on the “power switch” of the main unit of the cnc oxyfuel cutting machine, the power indicator light does not light up

(1) The “power indicator light” is broken: replace the indicator light.

(2) The 2A fuse is broken: replace the fuse.

(3) No input three-phase 380V voltage: check whether there is a problem with the power supply.

(4) Phase loss of input power supply: Use a multimeter to check the three-phase power supply.

(5) The power switch is broken: replace the switch.

(6) The control board or the host is damaged: overhaul

2. After the input power is turned on, the fan of the cnc oxyfuel cutting machine does not rotate, but the power indicator light is on

(1) Phase loss of the input three-phase power supply: Use a multimeter to check the three-phase power supply.

(2) The fan blades are stuck by foreign objects: the foreign objects can be removed.

(3) The fan power plug is loose: re-plug it.

(4) The fan lead wire is broken: overhaul.

(5) Fan damage: repair or replace.

3. After the input power is turned on, the power indicator light is on, the fan is normal, but no airflow is ejected after turning on the “gas test” switch on cnc oxyfuel cutting machine

(1) No compressed air input: Check the air source and air supply pipeline.

(2) The air filter pressure reducing valve fails, the pressure gauge indicates 0, and the “insufficient air pressure” indicator light is on: adjust the pressure of the pressure reducing valve or replace the pressure reducing valve.

(3) The “test gas” switch is damaged: replace the switch.

(4) The solenoid valve in the main engine is broken: repair or replace it.

(5) Air leakage or open circuit in the gas supply pipeline: maintenance.

4. Turn on the “test gas” switch on the host panel, there is air flow, press the torch switch, the machine has no response

(1) The plasma torch switch is broken or the connecting wire is broken: repair or replace.

(2) The “cut” switch on the panel of the cnc oxyfuel cutting machine is broken: repair or replace.

(3) The main control board of the cnc oxyfuel cutting machine is damaged: repair or replace it.

(4) The cnc oxyfuel cutting machine is in a protection state due to temperature and other reasons: wait for the temperature to be normal.

(5) The waterway is not working properly, causing the water pressure to be too low. Protection: Check the waterway and water pressure valve.

(6) Damage to the host control transformer or related circuits and components: overhaul.

 

5. The contact type can be cut, but the non-contact type cannot be cut. Test the non-transfer arc without spark spray nozzle

(1) 15A fuse core open circuit: replace.

(2) The air pressure on the pressure reducing valve is too high: adjust the pressure.

(3) Damaged parts in the torch: check and replace.

(4) The cutting torch is damp, and the moisture in the compressed air is too high: dry it, and add a water filter device.

(5) The arc pilot line is open circuit: replace it. (6) Damaged cutting torch: replace it on cnc oxyfuel cutting machine.

6. Press the plasma torch switch on cnc oxyfuel cutting machine, there is airflow in the nozzle, but neither “high-grade” nor “low-grade” can be cut

(1) Phase loss of input power supply: overhaul.

(2) The air pressure is less than 0.45Mpa: adjust the pressure of the pressure reducing valve.

(3) The input air flow is too small: ensure 0.3m3/min

(4) Poor contact between the cutting ground wire and the workpiece: Re-clamp or replace.

(5) The electrode nozzle or other parts in the cutting torch are damaged: replace with new parts of cnc oxyfuel cutting machine.

(6) Incorrect cutting method: place the nozzle and workpiece correctly.

(7) The torch lead of the cnc oxyfuel cutting machine is broken: replace or reconnect it.

(8) The distance between the “spark arresters” in the host is too large or short-circuited: the distance is guaranteed to be about 0.5mm.

(9) Some components in the main engine of cnc oxyfuel cutting machine are damaged, such as: pressure controller, etc.: repair or replace.

(10) Damage to the control board in the host of cnc oxyfuel cutting machine: overhaul or replace.

(11) The torch of the cnc oxyfuel cutting machine is damaged: replace it.

2. What are the maintenance items of the cnc oxyfuel cutting machine?

cnc oxyfuel cutting machine need regular maintenance. Generally, the maintenance of cnc oxyfuel cutting machine is divided into three types: minor repairs, medium repairs and major repairs:

1. Minor repairs

(1) Check and adjust the sensitivity and reliability of safety protection devices such as water pressure relays and thermal relays on the cnc oxyfuel cutting machine.

(2) Clear blockages and leaks in cold water pipes.

(3) Check the air system and remove the leakage on the cnc oxyfuel cutting machine.
